First Saturdays Public Art Walk Tours - November 7, 2009, 9:45 am On the first Saturday of the month from November through April visitors can enjoy docent led tours of the Fountain Hills public art collection. The town is home to an extensive collection of more than 70 eclectic artwork from nationally and internationally recognized artists. Artwork dots the parks, plazas and public buildings. Docent led tours take approximately one hour and begin in the Sculpture Garden at the Community Center. Docent led tours cost $5.00 per person and include a commemorative mug. A self-guided touring map is also available at several locations including the Visitors Center, Community Center. Library and Town Hall.
Fountain Festival of Arts & Crafts, November 13-15, 2009 - 10am-5pm The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to present its 35th Annual Fountain Festival of Arts & Crafts, Official Sponsor Fort McDowell Casino. Over 200,000 visitors from all over the valley come to see and buy the work of 500 national artisans. This three-day show extends the length of Avenue of the Fountains and along Saguaro Blvd. with food booths, live music and entertainment. Fair goers can also shop, dine and discover the many Fountain Hills specialty shops and restaurants.
Fountain Hills Chamber Players, November 15, 2009 - 3pm The 13th season of the Fountain Hills Chamber Players, presents an exciting repertoire full of surprise, precision, and emotion. The magic of the ensemble repertoire for strings, woodwinds, and piano is captured in their beautiful sounds. Concerts are held Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 16150 E. Orme Dam Victory Days, November 20 -22 - 9am-10pm The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation celebrates resisting the U.S. Government’s proposition to build a dam on the Verde and Salt Rivers, thereby creating a lake on their land. The three-day celebration includes a parade, rodeo, carnival, golf tournament, Yavapai song and dance, sporting events, concerts and a fine arts show.
Thanksgiving Day Parade, November 26, 2009, 9am The only Thanksgiving Day Parade in Arizona, featuring floats, horses, marching bands and a Grand Marshall. A parade theme is chosen every year. Parade starts at 9 a.m. at the corners of Saguaro and El Lago Boulevards.

Stroll in the Glow, December 5, 6pm
Over 60,000 twinkling lights and ornaments adorn the trees and median of Avenue of the Fountains in downtown Fountain Hills. Santa and his elves arrive while carolers sing. Shops and boutiques along the Avenue are open late to greet visitors. The Stroll takes place along the entire Avenue of the Fountains leading up to Fountain Park, home of the one of the world’s tallest fountain.
Holiday Luminaries, December 22-24, Sunset In what has become a Fountain Hills tradition, for all of the three nights preceding Christmas, luminaries are lit shortly before sunset by hundreds of volunteers. Five thousand luminaries line the streets of the downtown and the shores of Fountain Lake turning the Park and downtown into a softly lit fantasy land.
